Ammo Prices: Cost Per Round Tracker

What this is

Cost per round (CPR) is the fairest way to compare ammo: a box price divided by the number of rounds in it. This page tracks CPR for common calibers using only prices Redacted Armory has recorded itself: retailer product-feed prices we refresh several times a day, plus deals posted by the shooting community.

• Lowest is the cheapest in-stock retailer listing we saw that day; median is the middle in-stock listing across all loads (range FMJ through premium defensive and hunting ammo), so it runs well above the bargain price.
• Retailer prices are before shipping and tax. Bulk cases often get the lowest CPR but cost more up front.
• Our price history starts October 19, 2026, so 30- and 90-day figures currently cover the same short window. They'll fill in as history builds. Calibers without enough data are hidden rather than guessed.
• Retailer coverage is limited to the feeds we receive today, so a lower price may exist elsewhere. Community posts help fill that gap.
